Kat - Principal Artist & Master Educator

Kat’s career in Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) was a natural evolution from his five-plus years as a tattoo artist. His journey began under the guidance of renowned SMP expert Picasso Jeff in Hollywood, California, where he quickly advanced to the role of store manager. Kat’s dedication to mastering his craft saw him apprenticing under Jeff and training alongside him in LA, eventually earning his Master Trainer Status through LDRS Academy.

Kat’s expertise and passion for teaching have taken him across the United States, from Alaska to Chicago, and around the world to Canada, Spain, Serbia, Croatia, and Vietnam. Known for his patience and genuine care for his students' success, Kat became the first SMP artist to introduce Scalp Micropigmentation to Sviato Academy in Europe.

Today, Kat leads the INK HDZ SMP Academy in Santa Monica, California, where he continues to inspire and train the next generation of SMP artists.
