The True-Natural

This hairline is by far the most requested hairline by most new clients. It goes by many names: soft hairline, natural hairline, feathered hairline, faded hairline, or a broken hairline. Either way, it is designed to look like you woke up in the morning, shaved your head and walked out the door. There are no straight lines or sharp corners like the Barber’s Edge-Up. It is also the most difficult hairline to do as a Scalp Micropigmentation artist. Creating that soft fade is something that requires a lot of skill. Most SMP artists are drawn to the Edge-Up because simply put, you draw a straight line then bring your dots to the line. However, the Natural Feathered hairline is one that requires true master-level skills and is a technique that I specialize in.
