Dots Too Close

This example show dots that are not only too big but too close. If you you don’t have the secret power of restraint, you will over dot the hairline creating a horrible look. It’s clear when you see the work of untrained artists. If it stands out, it’s done wrong. If you notice that they have SMP, it’s most likely done wrong. In this case, the artist mixed the pigment too dark, went too deep, and placed the dots too close. All no-nos in the world of SMP.
