In the beginning

My journey to Scalp Micropigmentation was a long one. I started seeing hair in my drain when I was 21. That’s super young to start feeling insecurity from thinning. The difference with my story of balding is that it took almost 12 years before I was bald enough to finally shave it all off. Most guys will lose most their hair within 3-5 years of the initial hairs coming loose.

I remember I was living in Lancaster, Ca at the time and it was absolutely heart breaking. My hair was such a an avenue of expression for me. I had every hairstyle you could think of. From cornrows, to dreads, to braids, an afro, you name it. I dyed it every color you could think of too. I loved my hair. Losing it was like losing a part of me. But little did I know that it would lead to the career I now have as an SMP artist. I now get to travel the world teaching it as well. Giving away this beautiful gift is such a blessing. I’m thankful for my journey.
